As urban farmers, our goal is to produce enough mushrooms to feed our community without waste or overproduction. Growing mushrooms requires some technical skills and time to cultivate. SOME MUSHROOMS TAKE UP TO 6 MONTHS TO INCUBATE AND UP TO 3 WEEKS TO FRUIT. Therefore, to avoid wait times and guarantee your fresh mushrooms are available we have a weekly or bi-weekly subscription. We hope that you stick around but you are free to cancel your subscription at any time.
What to expect?
2 quarts, 3 quarts, or 5 lbs of our freshest culinary mushrooms. We offer several types of mushrooms as well as a variety box. Our variety mushroom boxes are farmers' choice, but we can accommodate allergies.
Our variety box Includes 2 to 4 varieties depending on size. Mushrooms vary some based on availability of our current harvest. The most likely mushrooms that you will find in the variety box are as follows: pink oyster, blue oyster, golden oyster, lion's mane, shiitake, black king, king trumpet, chestnut, pioppino, maitake, and beech.
