Our tinctures are extracted from 100% fruiting bodies (mushrooms) and sclerotia, not mycelium. They contain no filler grains. The extraction process is a two-step extraction involving ultrasonic frequency vibration to extract the alcohol soluble compounds in the mushrooms and a hot water concentration for the water soluble compounds. Each extract is then recombined in a ratio that is shelf stable and ready for daily use.
Tinctures are meant to be taken orally. The highest absorption can be felt by taking the tincture directly under your tongue but you can also add it to your favorite beverage, or put it into soft foods like soups, sauces, or dressing.
